History of the Polictorch
The Policetorch
website is an electronic version of the Policetorch, the first magazine in police
literature. From a progressive point of view, it is the vision of the Policetorch.
In 1965, the National Police Agency combined the Civil Coverage and the Police and
Public semimonthly into one magazine called Policetorch. To this day, more than
500 issues have been published in 35 years. Although the age and published issues
are impressive, the implication of modern media competition is pregnant with meaning.
